Journey to Bethlehem:-
Mary and her husband-to-be, Joseph, lived in a town called Nazareth. But they had to travel to the other city called Bethlehem to register for a census that was ordered by the Roman emperor known as “Caesar Augustus”. Both places Nazareth and Bethlehem are in the country now called “Israel”. It is about 65 miles (105 km) distance from Nazareth to Bethlehem, and this trip probably took them several days of traveling. When Joseph and Mary got to Bethlehem city, there was not a single place for them to stay because all the inn were already full. They ended up spending the night in a horse stable, a place where horses were kept. There was probably fresh hay on the floor of the stable that they used for their beds.
That night, Jesus was born. There was no crib, so they laid the baby Jesus in a manger that is a feeding trough for animals. That manger probably had fresh hay in it and they made a nice bed for the baby Jesus.
Shepherds Visited Jesus:-
Jesus was born in a horse stable and was laid to sleep in a manger. The shepherds came to visit firsthand the things that the angel had told them about.
That night, some of the shepherds were in the fields near Bethlehem, keeping a watch over their flocks of sheep. An angel appeared to that shepherd and gave them the good news that the Messiah, a Savior, had been born tonight. The angel told that shepherds that they could find Jesus lying in a manger in a stable. Suddenly a whole group of angels appeared saying this to the shepherds, Glory to the Gods in his highest, and on this earth peace, goodwill towards men!
The shepherds hurried into the Bethlehem city and found Jesus in the manger, just as the angel had told them before. After they had seen baby Jesus, they spread the news, and everyone who heard this news was in awe.

Wise Men Visited Jesus:-
Wise men from the Eastside came to worship Jesus, bringing gifts made of gold, myrrh, and frankincense.
Sometime later, wise men, or also known as magi, from eastern countries saw a shining star in the sky that signaled the birth of a new king on earth. They came to Judaea, the region around Jerusalem and Bethlehem, to worship Jesus, there new king.
A man named “Herod” was the king of Judea. He called all the wise men to a meeting and told them to find their new king so he could also go and worship there new king “Jesus”.
The wise men continued on to Bethlehem city and followed the star until it was directly above the house where Jesus stays. They found Mary and Jesus in the house and knelt down before them to worship Him. They brought Jesus gifts made of gold, myrrh, and frankincense, some of the finest things of the time of the ancient world. Frankincense was used to burn to make a sweet and pleasant smell, and myrrh was an expensive perfume for Jesus.
After visiting Jesus, the wise men had a dream about the king Herod that warned them not to go back to him, so they took a different route to their home.
Journey to Egypt:-
King Herod lied when he told the wise men that he wanted to worship the new king Jesus. He was afraid that this new “king” would replace him as king of the Judaea. He did not understand that Jesus the new king would grow up to be the king of God’s spiritual kingdom, not the king of Judaea.
What King Herod really wanted was to find Jesus and kill Him! Herod was furious when he realized that the wise men had not come back to tell him where to find the new king Jesus. He sent his soldiers to Bethlehem city to kill all the children who were under two years old, thinking that Jesus would certainly be one of the ones who has been killed.
But God had told Joseph in his dream to flee to Egypt. Joseph took Mary and his son Jesus to live in Egypt where they would be safe from King Herod. Joseph, Mary, and their son Jesus stayed in Egypt until King Herod had died, and then they returned to Nazareth city.
